H.323 Endpoints

H.323 endpoints do not register with CUCM and only have to be known by IP address. You want to have an H.323 gatekeepers to handle the registration
H.323 endpoints need to have their own dial plan and act as a peer to CUCM
H.323 endpoints consumes two DL
Features not supported included:
- Phone button templates
- Softkey templates
- IP Phone Services
- Cisco Unified Communication Manager Assistant
- Cisco Unified Video Advantage
- Call Pickup
- Barge
- Presence, etc

Configuration

Configure the H.323 phone on CUCM with IP addresses and DN
Configure the H.323 phone with the IP address of CUCM and specify the numbers that should be routed to CUCM
