Global Transformation
General
- See + Dialing for more information
- Allow incoming call history to display the full E.164 number for callback

- Called Party Transformation - localized the Called number at the gateway
- Calling Party Transformation - localized and Calling Number at the gateway

- Significant Digits or Translation Pattern - localized Called Number to match locally configure DN
- Incoming Prefix - globalized calling number based on type of call
- Calling Number Transformation Pattern - localized calling number with local offnet prefix to allow call back
Local Route Group
- Implication of Local Route Group when combined with +Dialing
- User can use their local dial rule
- The number is globalized
- A single Route Pattern \+! can be used to route to their local route group gateway
Configuration Outgoing Call
- Global call routing (route patterns in global [E.164] format) is assumed to be in place already
Localized Call Ingress on Phones
- Globalize Called Number - Translation patterns for dialed number normalization (globalization)
- Match local offnet dial rule e.g. 00.! and convert called number to E.164 format
- Globalize Calling Number - External phone number masks in E.164 format for calling number normalization
Localized Call Egress to Gateway
- Localized called number - Called party global transformations for called number localization
- Assign Called Party Transformation to gateway.
- If the device pool is selected, the device pool will be the preferred
- Configure Called Party Transformation on the device pool.
- Localized calling number - Calling party global transformation for calling number localization
- Assign Calling Party Transformation to gateway.
- If the device pool is selected, the device pool will be the preferred
- Configure Calling Party Transformation on the device pool.
Configuration Inbound Call
Localized Call Ingress on Gateway
- Translation patterns or significant digits for reduction of called PSTN number to internally used directory number
- Prefixes for calling party number normalization (globalization)
- If set to default, then look at next level on the device pool
- If again set to default, then look at the CUCM Service Parameters (Advanced Parameters)
Localized Call Egress to phone
- No requirements for called party number (already reduced to directory number)
- Localized Calling Number - use Calling Party Transformation pattern
- This allows the number display to include any local offnet dial prefix for callback
- Assign the Calling Party Transformation to the phone
- Again if the device pool is set, it will be the preferred
