Multilevel Administration Access (MLA)
By default, there is only one administrator login shared between CCM and Windows. MLA creates a predefined user called CCMAdministrator that is separated from the Windows Administrator. MLA also provides multiple levels of security to Cisco CallManager Administration.
After MLA is enabled, all usernames and passwords are stored in a LDAP. The CCMAdministrator is stored in the registry to allow login even when LDAP is not available.
MLA Configuration
- Enabling MLA (User > Access Rights > Configure MLA Parameters)
- Enable MLA
- New password for CCMAdministrator
- Configure Functional Group (User > Access Rights > Functional Group)
- Collection of CCM system admin sub menu
- Configure User Group (User > Access Rights > User Group)
- Assign Privilege (User > Access Rights > Assigning Privileges to User Group)
