CCME Call Pickup

  • SIP
    • For some reason, the pickup and gpickup softkey doesn't work so use the following instead
    • default pickup FAC **3
    • default gpickup FAC **4

Direct Call Pickup

  • Enable by default, don't even have to belong to a pickup group
    • Press Pickup and enter use extension to pickup a call
    • Press GPickup and enter use extension to pickup a call

Local Call Pickup

  • To pick up any ringing call within the same group
    • Press Pickup Softkey
    • Press GPickup follow by “*”

Group Pickup

  • Press GPickup and enter the group number to pickup a call

Configuration

  • The configuration for local or group pickup is the same

<note important>The group number leading digits number be unique and non overlapping e.g. we cannot have group 17 and 171</note>

  • Assign DN to pickup group. Group 888 is what ties the two DN into the same group.
  • Each DN can only be associated with one group

Voice Register Call Feature URI

  • Specify the uniform resource identifier (URI) for soft keys on SIP phones registered to a Cisco Unified CME router
  • This command is not supported on the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7905, 7912, 7940, or 7960
  • For some reason this is not working?

  call-feature-uri pickup http://<ccme-ip>/pickup
  call-feature-uri gpickup http://<ccme-ip>/gpickup

(Optional) Service Directed Pickup

  • Enable or disable Directed pickup (enabled by default)
  • This commands affect the keys used for Local and Directed Call Pickup
  • Please note that the gpickup option will stop Call Park retrieval using the pickup softkey.
