Busy Lamp Field
General
- BLF pickup
- New in CUCMv7
- Allow pickup of call using the BLF key
- The Call Pickup group for the monitoring user must contain the pickup group for the monitored destination or call pickup will fail.
- Can also configure to pickup from a hunt pilot number to support line group pickup
- Presence Group do not apply to presence-enabled speed dials i.e. BLF
- BLF Pickup is disabled when DND Call Reject is enabled on the monitored or monitoring device.
BLF Pickup Configuration
Phone Button Template
- Under Device > Device Settings > Phone Button Template, configure Phone button template to have BLF
Assign to Phone
- Under Device > Phone, add phone button template and assign a subscribe calling search space
- Under Device > Phone, add a new BLF SD, enter the destination and check Call Pickup.
Line Group Pickup (Optional)
- To implement BLF pickup for a line group, enter CSCsb47263 in the enterprise parameter Cisco Support Use 1.
- To monitor a hunt list, add both the hunt pilot number and member DN in the same call pickup group
Service Paramters
- Whether to get audio alert when the monitoring phone is idle or busy
- When the monitored phone is DND, whether the watcher will still get the status
